Frequent questions

What indigenous ancestral medicines do you use in the Healing Ceremonies?

At Nuna Sinsi we use different natural medicines for our Healing Ceremonies with Indigenous Ancestral Medicine.

We currently use the Rapé, Mambé, Ambil and Ayahausca or Yagé (it is the same, the name changes depending on the indigenous community).

Recommendations 
Induction Ceremony to Indigenous Ancestral Medicine
Snuff Deepening Ceremony

It is essential to prepare yourself physically, mentally and energetically to receive the Rapé indigenous ancestral medicine. Therefore, we advise you to fully follow the following indications.

The day of the Induction or Deepening Ceremony: 

- Try to fast the day of the ceremony or eat light and light meals such as fruit, vegetables and broths. You must fast for at least 4 hours so that your trip is more comfortable, deep and introspective.  

- Wear comfortable and warm clothes and shoes.

- Refrain from having sex. The sexual energy is very strong and moves especially during encounters of this nature. 

- Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages, pharmaceutical or psychoactive drugs.

Ayahuasca ceremony

It is essential to prepare physically, mentally and energetically to receive the Ayahuasca indigenous ancestral medicine. Therefore, we advise you to fully follow the following indications.

The 10 days before the Ayahuasca Ceremony:

- Avoid consuming coffee, red meat, dairy, fat, citrus, spicy, 

Yes, consume light food such as vegetables, fruit, green tea and water.

​

- Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages, pharmaceutical or psychoactive drugs.

If you are undergoing pharmacological treatment for psychiatric, neurological or cardiovascular conditions, please consult with your specialist the contraindications of the medication you use with the chemical substance beta-carboline.

- Refrain from having sex. The sexual energy is very strong and moves especially during encounters of this nature.

- Write on a piece of paper the answer to the following questions about your voluntary and conscious process:

How do I feel about my current life situation? Is there anything I would like to change about my reality? What are my most frequent thoughts about my life, my purpose, my personal path? Why do I feel that it is the right time to live this experience of emotional, mental and physical healing? What do I hope to learn from this experience?

The day of the Ayahuasca Ceremony: 

- Try to fast the day of the ceremony or eat light and light meals such as fruit, vegetables and broths. You must fast for at least 4 hours so that your trip is more comfortable, deep and introspective.  

- Wear comfortable and warm clothes and shoes. The spaceio is covered but you could  experience cold during the healing process. That is why we recommend you bring a coat: blanket, jacket, poncho, blanket, etc.

The day after the Ayahuasca Ceremony:

- You can conconsuming light meals such as broths, fruits and water.

- Take the day to rest calmly and reflect on your process, learning and experience. 

- If you drive we recommend you wait until you feel good to drive, usually around 8 am
